Frozen precipitation such as hail, slush or snow is melted using an integrated heating system and then measured as liquid precipitation. 1 mm of precipitation is the equivalent of 1 litre/m2. The measured values shown are only partly checked and may include gaps.

The amounts of precipitation per hour are shown. The diagram is updated once every hour and shows the values for yesterday and today. If you click on the "All Switzerland" link you go back to the general map and if you click on "Region" you go back to the region you were looking at.
If you are interested in further parameters, you can click on the relevant flag in the top toolbar. You will then go straight to the view mode you have selected at that time.
