Some items have been revised between the Green Edition of Annex 3 (Amendment 74) dated spring 2007 and the effective Blue Edition.
The enclosed documents "amendment Annex 3" at the bottom show the detailed changes which will become effective as of 05. November 2008 (available in german, french and italian). The main changes are as follow:
- New Meteorological TAF format
Instead of the short- and long TAF only one TAF will be issued. In Switzerland the TAF for Zurich and Geneva airport will be valid for 30h and for all other regional airports the validity time is 9h with an update period of 3h for both.

(Temperature will be published only for LSZH and LSGG)
In addition short TAF’s will be disseminated for the Airports Samedan, Buochs and Les Eplatures from the 5th of November.
- Omission of SKC in METAR and TAF
The expression SKC will not be used anymore and will be replaced by CAVOK or NSC (ac-cording to the meteorological conditions).
