  • Inform yourself on traffic conditions (Radio, Phone Number 163).
  • Give preference to public transport.
  • Limit the use of vehicles to the maximum. For inevitable drives, use adequate winter equipment!
  • Follow the instructions of the winter maintenance crew.
  • Do not stay near projecting roofs.
Orange Possible consequences
  • Increasing number of impassable road sections.
  • Prolonged obstruction of air and road traffic.
  • The weight of the snow might cause branches to break or trees to fall.
  • Electricity supply interrupted and telephone lines cut off, especially in areas not easily accessible.

  • Heavy snow load on roofs.
