Global Climate Observing System (GCOS)

The Global Climate Observing System is intended to make sure that the necessary observations and information relevant to climate are made available to all users. GCOS relates to the entire climate system, inclusive of the physical, chemical and biological properties of the atmosphere, the oceans and the earth.

Global Atmosphere Watch (GAW)

Global Atmosphere Watch is a worldwide program of the World Meteorological Organization (WMO). The long-term objective of GAW is to collect and analyse data and other information on the chemical composition of the atmosphere and related physical features from all parts of the earth.
